Do my guests need to install the app?
No. Tapping the tag launches a tiny App Clip that handles the join automatically. Nothing to download or sign up for.
Does it work on Android?
The current launch flow is iPhone-only because it relies on iOS App Clips. Android support is on the roadmap.
Is my Wi-Fi password safe?
Yes. Passwords are encrypted at rest with AWS KMS and only sent over TLS. We never log your password and never share it. See the privacy policy for specifics.
What happens if I change my Wi-Fi password?
With Pro, just update the credentials in the app — the tag's URL stays the same, but every future tap hands out the new password instantly. No need to re-program physical stickers. Without Pro, you can also re-program the same NFC tag with the new credentials.
Where do I buy NFC tags?
This pack on Amazon works great. NTAG215 is the recommended chip — supported by every iPhone, plenty of memory, ~$0.40 per sticker in 25-packs.
